SimplyMax – Head Modeling Tutorial
April 20th, 2009 by Shytex

You’ve probably watched or read other head modeling tutorials out there, but I takes you step-by-step throughout the whole process. I basically want to take you through modeling and get you more familiar with working in Splines, polygons and plenty of the Polygon subobject tools that help in creating defined meshes.
This is good for beginners or intermediate modelers, and will produce a very defined base head that you can model even more detail into, and gives you, the modeler, the flexibility in shaping it into whichever direction you want to take it.

Simply Max – Machine Gun
April 20th, 2009 by Shytex
Kurt takes us through the process of modeling a futuristic gun. He will start with image plane set-up and then dive into modeling using polygons and then converting to Sub-d’s to add more detail to the gun.
If your new to max then this is a great place to start. While creating this great looking gun you will cover many tools and usages of max.

SimplyMax – Modeling Maxbot
March 9th, 2009 by Shytex
Kurt takes us through modeling this hard surface robot. He starts off with image plane set-up then proceeds with polygon primitives to achieve all the basic proportions. Then Kurt adds detail using a variety of different modeling tools, before converting to sub-ds for final shaping. After using these methods to create the robot then you can use everything learnt to apply to similar projects.
